IAS Preparation - CSAT: Introduction to Decision Making

This lecture gives the viewer an understanding of the key concepts that are generally tested by the UPSC in the ‘Decision Making’ section of the CSAT (Civil Services Aptitude Test).

Although the CSAT (with effect from the 2015 UPSC Civil Services Prelims Exam) has become a qualifying paper, its importance cannot be undermined. Scoring in decision-making questions that appear in CSAT, represents a win-win situation to a candidate, as these questions are generally not accompanied with any negative marking, if marked incorrectly. It is thus advisable to candidates to derive the maximum benefit of scoring marks in such questions, and the key towards ensuring this is to understand the ‘questioning style’ normally employed for these questions.

We believe that our Series can help IAS aspirants prepare for CSE in a manner which the UPSC examination requires. Please note that for any further queries or to discuss how to align your preparation strategy as per UPSC requirements (also with respect to CSAT).
